Cubanbrown introduces the world to Pakistani Reggaeton with the song Pistola. this isn't just Urdu on a "Dembow beat", this is an artist inspired by reggaeton who made his first song in Cuba finally showing us a track that truly embodies the name Cubanbrown. We finally get to hear what its like when a South Asian artist lays down lyrics on a "Dembow beat" fully understanding, appreciating and showing love to the Latin Urbano Culture from which Reggaeton was spawned.

Cubanbrown is a Toronto born rapper and singer/songwriter, blending Hip-hop, Reggaetón, and South Asian sounds into a unique sonic tapestry. He seamlessly weaves English, Punjabi, and Urdu lyrics into his music, collaborating with diverse South Asian artists to champion the burgeoning Toronto Desi Hip-hop movement.
In June 2024, Cubanbrown opened for Roach Killa at Desi Fest in Toronto and was part of the 2025 Canada’s Music Incubator Entrepreneur Program. “Kaash” (Feb 2025) was featured on Rap 91 Haryanvi Spotify Playlist and his single “Socha” premiered on Sirius XM’s Dhamaka.
